Oooh, remember something she likes and get her a little sterling silver charm bracelet with a charm on it representing the thing she likes. NOT Tiffany, just something quaint. I found that Tiffany sends the wrong message if your W isn't happy

For instance, if she likes whales, get her one of those whale tail charms (just an example, I have no idea if your W likes whales. )

Get her a copy of Charlotte's web on DVD, the new one, she'll LOVE it if she hasn't seen it yet...

Still thinking about wrapping myself in a bow

So I am going to hit on a previous topic, the sofa. It sounds like she's a) asking for her son's benefit, b) asking for your benefit and c) maybe holding something deep inside. I say the last because my wife balked at such an idea back in the spring when we both had some crazy travel schedules going and needed a lot of each other's help with getting the kids to school.

Now if you do this it does give you a HUGE opportunity to show her the new you. But you can't over do it in any way, make it subtle.

Well it basically is subtle, I get over about 11-11:30pm, she goes to bed and I go to sleep on sofa. The only one who actually benifits is her, she gets to go in earlier which means she gets off earlier. My benifit is getting to sleep an extra hour or two, that I will not complain about. It was completely her idea, I was waking up at 5 am to go over without so much as a peep of a complaint.
I think she is holding something inside, just by the card I found, oops wasnt suppose to speak of that.

I will just continue to do as I have been and leave the rest up to her.

Now be patient and go with the flow here. Don't pressure her in any way and be the best 789 can be. Let her see the new you and then want the new you.

So any chance you might be able to arrive slightly earlier so you have some interaction?

Nope, on these days that is the earliest I can get over to her place, that was the problem to start with in getting him to school.

But I do have 3-4 days with her comming up this weekend. I am going to do my best at acting like nothing is wrong or going on, it will be spent with most of her family the whole time we are in town.

In other words, this may be my last chance to have that much time around her at one time, so I should use it to the best of my ability.
