Why do these things happen III

So any advice when you have seen a fathers day card to yourself from spouse and it is about as loving as you can get. I do not know how she could give it to me and me not expect the best, or at least say something to her. Past years it would have seem normal, this year, I am just at a loss. I went and bought 2 Bday cards for her, one basically generic, and the other for a W. Hope they do fathers day stuff first, then I know which card to give her.
