I wanted to say that my X and I had little problems before the speech. I had no idea of the OM and the thought of an affair was too much for me to wrap my mind around. In fact, the OM came to our house to change before baseball practice. He even invited me and my son to go bowhunting the previous summer.
My Laywer said he was a snake and had heard of his behaior from others. The OM had been married twice before. He dumpled my X, married a new girl more his age. My X was 40. I heard awhile back that the OM is divorced again (3 times).
This was from a women who always went to church and seemed disguisted with any affair she heard of or even watched on TV. Needless to say, it was a shock. I did notice that she quit going to chuch about the time she met the OM. I chalk it up to guilt.
The fog is real and she may attempt to destroy you once you pull the plug financially. It all depends on her personality type. So please be carefull.
Maybe she will come around before any of that happens.
