Sorry you weren't able to go..... boring or not.... kind of sucks missing a special day for her. Maybe you can do something with her to share the milestone event.... even if it was by the Grace of God that she got thru the year. Perhaps a trip to the bookstore allowing her to choose a book to read and give you a report on.... kinda serves a dual purpose. lol
