Well I think that might answer one question, if pastor is pro-marraige"which he should be" and your W knows this, can she really say anything different to him. That would be like telling you a possiblity exists, and having you jump all over it. Your pastor would do the same, so she has to shut down and not tell him.

JR, remember a couple of things about your situation that Michele brings up in her books;
1) Believe almost nothing the WAS says and less than 1/2 of what they do. They are in pain and scared just like you.
2) No matter how dark and desperate the situation never give up.
I haven't given up on mine and look where we are now at. In January she was trying to buy my interest out in all of our assets. She had me move out and kept telling me accept it, our marriage is dead and over and I needed to move on. Again today she said she's open to reconciliation.

I don't believe anything she says, positive or negative, I just know she's confused in her head and heart and she'll come out of it one way or the other one of these days.
I do like hearing the good things, and I was feeling a little sad that the neighbor didn't support W's feeling last time (shoot, I might have my W back by now - at least with regards to communications). But I get over it and move forward with what I need to do.

Doesn't matter. It's still amazing. You'll be a better man for all this regardless - we all will if we engrain the changes in our souls - make it WHO WE ARE! We just want the W's along for the ride. If they don't want to go despite our changes, there's not a damn thing we can do about that and we move forward.
