now im going to leave her alone all together and hope the space helps us.
There you go, start there. Then focus on working on yourself. You can't control your wife. You can only control you. Quit with the defensive stuff, it doesn't work (believe me, I tried).
If you're going to go to God, go with a humble heart and with some real intent, willing to submit to HIS will. He doesn't do things on your time, he does them on his because you have some lessons to learn. Go read through my threads, and see the lessons of patience I've had to learn. I was ridiculous last week, thinking I had no chance because my wife won't even talk to me, and them BAM! Yesterday I get the call that we're going to meet on Wednesday. Do you think I said, "It's about time God?" Um no. I said, "I am humbled, I have not been truly humble or patient and yet still you have answered my prayers! THANK YOU!"
And now I pray I can say and do whatever it is my W needs to hear or see (if anything) in this particular meeting. I pray that SHE receives the righteous desires of HER heart since she's in control of this situation. That's all I can do! She then has to decide if she's going to listen to God's promptings or ignore them. And I'm ok with that, because I know God will continue to bless me with what I need to be OK.
You'll learn. Reflect on yourself, stop blaming your wife, look at the value you see in her and if she sees any in you. If you have value and real love, you have a chance.
Good Luck!!!
We can talk ourselves into defeat or we can talk ourselves into victory - we are creatures of our thinking.
