Good job and great attitude...you amaze me (and inspire me to stop being so witchy some days!).
You know, actions speak louder than words. In MLC, you had both, going in the other direction. Now, you have both going in the right direction. He will see that. You have made steps to keep piling on the good thoughts, words and following them up with action.
THAT is why he called you today, drugs or no drugs.
Why should he do that? B/c he knew you would be there. The H that was 1 1/2 years ago, expecting nothing but mean AmyC, would not have bothered to call, most of all on the day of surgery. But he KNOWS you care, that is why he called.
Keep being there, dear. Keep the words and actions up. Because you are a woman of integrity, of word, of good actions and good faith. You are dependable, loyal, honest and good.
And, keep your eye on the AmyC that is a great W, then and now. Don't forget that you were that in your M (maybe not in MLC).
