Talk about distancing. My Jeep is all packed with fishing poles, kites, shovels (for building sand castles) some wood models to build, baseball gloves, cards and some beef jerky. My son and I are leaving in about ½ hour and I’m putting 250
Miles between the W and I.
Now for the “gifts” I have hidden around the house:
1 .Face cream my W asked my Daughter about wrapped in pink paper. 2 Toe nail polish (Twinkled Pink & Passion Punch) wrapped in ink paper 3 Lottery tickets Wrapped in pink paper (I'll be pissed if she wins millions and takes off with the OM) 4 A Pink monkey you guessed it wrapped in pink paper 5 A pair of sun glasses in pink paper 6 A pink sticky note pad holder with my sons picture in it Wrapped in pink paper
And my son and I are stopping by her work and leaving a fan with the L.E.D. message “miss you A & M, She will find it Monday morning when she gets to work, it also is wrapped in pink paper.
Also today I mailed her a thank – note that said:
XXXXX Thanks for the great time last weekend. I don’t think I laughed so hard in a long time. Sorry the room was only a 2 star. I’m new to this reservation thing. You always did a great job of it. But I am learning. Thanks to not giving me a bad time about the room. Just you being there was enough for me. Just to let ya know this does not count as a second date. This was a great family weekend outing. . Hopefully when XXXXXX and I get back we can have our official “second date”
You are always on my mind XXXXXX
Things seem to be going good. It is almost like just before my W had the PA. That is what scares me. We need to talk about what caused the P.A and take care of it. I am not the kind of person that believes if you don’t face your problems will just go away. I feel I am at a turning point right now. I can’t walk on egg shells forever. I am not going to push too hard but none the less I have to push a little. It is going to be one hell of a week. I will have the lap top my W bought me (with my money). So you all will still hear from me.
Andyv –
I hope everything is ok where ya live. It’s in the 80’s here and a great day to start our journey. It’s hard to believe all of the flooding and wind damage that is happening in your area. My prayers are with ya for you and your family’s safety.
Next time I long on I’ll be in Eureka.
bye Husband
