Contentment, peace - all things that make life worth living - have their source in the mind of the individual. From the same source spring unrest, turbulency, misery - everything that leads to dissolution and death.

As hard as it is, we can condition ourselves to think positively.
My trigger has been to think of this really good family picture we took 1.5 years ago. I'm really un-fotogenic, and I actually look OK, my wife looks great as always, and our S is really cute. The mere thought of that picture immediately makes me smile!
We can talk ourselves into defeat or we can talk ourselves into victory - we are creatures of our thinking.
