Its amazing when you actually READ the Bible, and really explore the nuances of when and where it was written and for whom, you can actually gain a LOT of truth. Unfortunately for most people I know, the only Bible they know are the verses the pastor chooses to read every Sunday morning.
True, true. And a lot of things are simply translated badly. It's often worth it to go back to the original Hebrew, or Greek, etc to catch nuances in meaning.
