Ah but that's not true. I have analyzed before and discovered my worst fears. How do I just accept her friendship with this guy? I mean she'll go out with him on work nights, won't return that kind of favor to me. I stopped talking about it with her because she would get defensive and hostile. So I stuck to lighter subjects when we're together just to make the time as positive as possible. This is why I feel like a doormat.
