Mine had 2 prescriptions last I knew. One was too weak but she took it every day for some reason. The other was much stronger but she refused to take it because she didn't want to get addicted. I told her to go back and get something else but that made her mad.
Early in our marriage, she told me she had been on anti-depressants and I told her she shouldn't need them, that she could control it herself if she did certain things. That started the "her not being able to talk to me" thing. Not very nice on my part...
I do not believe either of those RX's are addicting. I have always been on her side when it came to appointments and such. Not once have I ever suggested changing RX's or dosages. That was between her and doctor. Just always hoping that the two of them would get the right one.
