LOL, it is hard to believe it's not all about us, huh!?!?!?!

Hey Amy....

Don't push it. He is going to be real skittish right now. Plus, he might not want you to see him as weak as he thinks the surgery may make him feel. Just stand by to help after. It's all you can do without blowing things up, I think. He isn;t in the same place you are, yet.

I was roaming around the other forums and shoot if I didn't get a smackdown by running across one my OWN posts.

Quote:
Resentment offers us something in these sitches we find ourselves in. It's a buffer from the pain. It we keep a spirit of offense about ourselves and one of anger, we don't fully feel the pain that threatens to break us.

The question is will we recognize the resentment and anger for the tools of the enemy that they are and lay them, too, at the foot of the Cross???

God, but I hate it when that happens.

Amy, What a great way to be admonished...by your own self! Slap yoself down, girl! Pick yoself up! In the grand scheme of things, would you let this surgery thing get in the way of the restoration of your M? I didn't think so!

That's on the shelf but I AM thinking of something for Father's Day and it DOES involve her.

I got another wakeup call today when I had a conversation with someone and I realized that I am sitting on a wealth of information that I only share here and my Pastor's wife told me a year ago that there were people in our church that needed to hear what I have learned. And so I started thinking about standing in the gap and how much authority do we have aside from standing for our spouses and children, blah, blah, blah I REALLY have NO IDEA where the heck I'm going with this.

The most bizarre thing has happened.

I am always late paying my car insurance (for the last few months anyway) and actually needed to make a payment next week or be canceled. Obviously, I have allowed for this and planned to make the payment when I get paid on the 15th. I'd still be a month down, but I'd buy myself a couple more weeks...such is juggling nowadays.

Well, a bill came in the mail yesterday, which I just now opened, and I expected it would show 2 months as being due as usual. Now we're talking over $160. But I opened the bill and the entire thing has been restructured, my policy was "renewed" on May 24th (which always happens in March and it DID OCCUR IN MARCH and I HAVE THE NEW POLICY TO PROVE IT) and they credited me over $140, threw in a few fees and my balance due is $31.30 and I'M NOT LATE - IT'S DUE JUNE 18th!

WHAT THE HECK!?

HAAAAAA!

PRAISE THE LORD.

I don't have a clue what any of this means.
