Look, sh1t happens. It can happen A LOT, but the cops being cops isn't going to change your relationship with your wife. It doesn't change the little signs you've seen the last few days.
I'll tell you what that crap is, it's the adversary trying to keep you from your family. He's trying to keep you down. Go immediately to your local book store and buy, "The screwtape letters." It's a fiction, but it's definitely how the adversary works on you! It'll open your eyes, and CS Lewis is a great author. If you like that one, get "The Great Divorce" too (not what you think.)
Regardless, don't sweat the cop stuff, that'll take care of itself. Take care of you and your family. You'll get through this, you'll be fine, focus on the good.
