If a person grumbles and compains about their lot in life, or the bad things that have happened to them, they attract negativity and further problems. All of us suffer, many times unjustly. But its at these times that a sacrifice of thanksgiving to God has maximum power. We mustn't give into the the temptation to speak out the words of the evil one who will be encouraging us to complain and pity ourselves. Complaining angers God. Just look at what it did for the people of Israel in the wilderness on the way to the Promised Land. And many of us are in an analogous position. We have not fully entered into the possession of what God wants us to have yet, though we have left the world behind. We mustn't complain when things get tough and the answers don't come quickly enough to save us from pain and frustration. Instead we need to maintain an attitude of thankfulness, patience and faith, which God will surely bless.
And so here I am.....waiting.

It's important for you to let those special people in your life know how much you appreciate their love and faithfulness to you. It's easy for human beings to let their love stop with words. Now loving words are certainly crucial to a love relationship, but words by themselves are not enough. The Bible says very clearly that we are to love not just by the words we say, but by the deeds of love that we do for others. There is absolutely no limit to the good things that can happen when you decide to let love be the driving force in your life. True love is so strong that the Bible says, "Many waters cannot quench love" (Song of Songs 8:7). That's a wonderful promise that when you choose to love, your efforts will not be in vain. God will open the windows of heaven and rain down His joy, abundance and favor on you when you learn to love the way He loves.
A Prayer for Today
God, I want to live my best life for You, in love, in everything I do. Please show me the way today so that I may walk in love toward You and toward others. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Wonderful prayer, KS. I know I have committed, under God's tutelage, to love my W no matter how she treats me. It makes me feel better knowing I can do that is bringing glory to Him and maybe, someday, back in a better M with her.
Get this - totally random thoughts here... no surprise I'm sure.
So - I've gotten a LOT of those emails lately - the ones that say my father was killed but before he died, he put a bazillion dollars into this bank and I need your help. Whatevah! Junk mail...
So today I get this one:
Attn. We have some reasons to believe that you WERE or ARE currently being swindled by some notorious Nigerian internet scammers otherwise known as 419ners (no punctuation? cute!)
With the help and full co-operation of the western union and money gram (Please see WESTERN UNION PRIVACY POLICY), we have since posted security agents in these financial organizations to monitor and compile list of people sending money into Nigeria especially where the name sending the funds is completely western. We then investigate the recipients of such funds with a view to finding out if such a person has any relations or legitimate business links in the country such money was reportedly sent from . We alert the sender of the possibility of being scammed where we have a good reason to believe so.
We have succeeded in getting these financial institutions to disclose third parties information's especially where a fraud case has being established in relation to Nigeria. So far, we are happy with the result because we have saved some from the agony of putting their life and that of there loved ones in danger of loosing all they have worked for to these criminals parading themselves as business men and women.
As a duty to the international community and general public we are building a one stop website on all there is to know about these scams. You are encouraged to forward details of such transaction to us without delay. (I'm sure I am!)This information will help build our case against the culprits and facilitate the arrest, prosecution and repatriation of your funds.
We may never know of cause (say what???????) unless we have your full co-operation in this matter. PLEASE, CONFIRM TO US WEATHER OR NOT YOU HAVE BEING A VICTIM OF THESE SCAMMERS. SO WE EITHER DROP OR EASYLY GET THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE CRIMES WITH A VIEW OF RECOVERING YOU'RE FUNDS. not to mention that last sentence sucked as far as structure goes )

Time to get my self righteousness out of my way....I have a vent.
I get upset when I look around at other sitches - people who are standing longer, people whose sitches are worse than ours....and I get this.....NC, D talk, blah blah.
Then there's om - one of the things that perturbed H was that he got off scott free....his W was upset with him, but now the fam is on a trip to Hawaii and I saw them the other day and it appears she's totally forgiven him.
I'm ducking behind a wall because I know I'll get blasted but it just doesn't seem fair or right. I AM sorry for what I did, I HAVE repented, I have shown I'm sorry, I'm trying every damned day......and I get sh*t on....
