Dinner was kind of quiet, as usual.
Reaction to dinner invite, hhmm, she said she would let me know and I dropped it. I will wait and see now.
If she doesn't answer, I am BBQing a damn big juicy steak for myself, might take the bone over for the dog afterwords. Then she will be jealous

I just thought of something, I do not think I have ever BBQ'd without using a beer for the flames. What else can you use ????

Marinate the steak in italian dressing overnight - holy crap it's good. Get a new york strip - yummy! The marinade dripping off will keep the flames working, and you can throw a little more on there as you're cooking...

Well damn, it is now getting close to 1am and I cannot fall asleep for the life of me.

W's family are all in town because her grandmother died yesterday.
Not even a phone call, I guess maybe I have been banished.

Why not send a lovely flower arrangement and a card of condolences to the entire family???...I am guessing that you cared about grandma too so this would show you haven't forgotten them....
