Okay, I misunderstood. Seems odd that the friend would say that, then.
Well my wife is very much sending mixed signals. She SAYS she wants out right away, but then doesn't move very fast. She doesn't just use her lawyer, that she paid for, but goes to our pastor to split up property. The Pastor saw her crying to the friend after the meeting, and then the friend who is so sweet, and there is NO WAY she would be pro-divorce says that. Jazz is right, it's posturing. Why? That is the $1,000,000,000,000 question. To show she's in charge? To punish me? I don't know. I don't know how she can do this to our son - THAT'S what has me amazed at all this.

About what?
Being done in 2-3 weeks?
We've been at it for two months, and it's not done, even though we're both agreeable. There's just a lot to do.
If you mean it'll all be over and done with - I don't know. That depends on you and how quickly you can let your M go. I sure couldn't do it that fast.
I don't want to be done period. If my wife does, why doesn't she just end it? She doesn't want to make that decision? She can't pull the trigger? Oh, I think she can. So why hasn't she? Again, who knows. And here I am sitting around waiting for the other shoe to fall while I get myself ready to be a happy divorced man? Doesn't that sound just a little bit insane? Yeah it is.
I'm going home, work is hurting my head now
We can talk ourselves into defeat or we can talk ourselves into victory - we are creatures of our thinking.
