Just had a great conversation with H. Nothing about the relationship, just a good chat. Will post more later. Got to finish a contract before I can go home.

Well T2 we are waiting to hear why. \:\)

Ain't it great when you can wake up and no matter what the sun is shining and the birds are singing! I know I am surely enjoying that "sunshine" is finally back in my life, even if I am sitting her at the beach by myself!! (All these happy families about and here I am the loner.)

Ok then, I had a great weekend.

Friday I asked H if he could go let the dog out when he got off work so I didn't have to go home right after work and he said yes. (good thing #1) We had to meet so I could give him the key to the house. Once we met up, we talked for about 20 minutes. I didn't care that I was late going back to work, he was talking and I wasn't going to stop him. (him talking so long - good thing #2)

Friday night when he came to pick up the kids to take them to his place, he didn't knock like he normally does. He just walked in the house. I jokingly said "So, you just walk in now without knocking?" His response, "I pay the house payment, I can come in whenever I want." I know all of you are saying that isn't right but I think it is great that he feels that way. He usually tells me it is MY house and with him not knocking and making that comment, it makes me feel he is coming around a little bit. (#3)

We discussed a lot of things he is doing from him coaching to his job. I was shocked he opened up so much with me. (#4)

He had the girls on Saturday so I got to just spend the day doing whatever I wanted. I got the border in the kitchen hung and finished the tiling. I am so glad that is done. Nothing exceptional happened today involving H.

Sunday the girls were with me. I had told H we were going to go to the beach (1 1/2 hours away) and if he wanted, he could come too. Of course he never said anything. We woke up Sunday and couldn't decide whether to go or not so I called and told him that he could get them if he wanted. He said he was out of town and was going to hit the beach for a bit. He thought we would be there. (#5) He was going to surprise us and show up I guess. We jumped up and got ready and left for the beach. It didn't work out very well though cuz we passed him about 5 miles from the beach. He had enough of it and was heading home to do laundry. That is ok though cuz just the thought of him coming knowing we were supposed to be there was great.

D16 called him as we passed him but he didn't answer his phone. About 2 minutes later he called us on my cell phone and not hers. (#6) He said sorry he missed us but he was tired of sitting out there by himself and plus the water was too cold. I told him I would call him when we got back in town cuz the girls were going to spend the night with him again.

Yesterday I planted some flowers and just laid around the house. I took a relaxing day. When he bought the girls home, he came in and saw what I had gotten done on the house and seemed to appreciate it.

All in all, it was a great weekend. The best that I have had in a long time.
