W and I took kids to see Shrek III and then to dinner on Friday. For the first weekend in a long time she didn't spend hours and hours on the computer working on homework. Instead??? We worked in the yard a good part of the weekend. We went out and bought flowers and plants for the garden. W planted the window box and a couple of other box planters, trimmed some trees.
Two things make this important, #1 is that she has said all along that she is leaving and the house stays with me, so why would any of this matter to her? #2 is that she had no need to be home working on homework, yet she did not go out this weekend.
Trying not to read anything into any of this.
Now....this coming weekend. My parents are planning on having the kids all weekend. There will be no need to find sitters or worry about being home at any given hour. She potentially could take off for the entire weekend with someone or be out Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. What will she choose to do???? I have no idea but it sure is on my mind today.
