Lou said:"10mm, that is huge considering the anatomy. Toyota's have several 10, 12, and 14 mm nuts and bolts holding the car together. I may never look at another 10mm wrench w/o thinking of you. I worked for the dealership for 10 years so know the older model of cars and trucks well. VW had several 10mm fasteners too."
When it first moved, I fell to the floor, certain someone had stabbed me with a 12" butcher knife. I started screaming. I don't know why, other than screaming made it seem to hurt a little less somehow. It was about 5:30 am. MrsNOP came rushing into the living room of our tiny apartment (I had made it that far, still don't know where I was headed, maybe to the outside door).
I was puking and about to pass out. She called one of my friends (ambulances were about useless back then). He rushed over with another of my friends and the two of them had to carry/drag me down two flights of stairs and into a car. I was barely conscious.
Got to the hospital. They immediately hit me with morphine, got a line into me and then more pain killers and some kind of synthetic adrenalin since I was so "shocky". They managed to do an IVP on me. Looked at it and were talking emergency surgery. I got off the table because I HAD to pee. They didn't want me to go any where, but I ended up with an orderly and one of those IV stands to hold me up, and off to pee I went.
All I remember about passing it (and this is through a morphine/whatever induced haze) was almost falling into a toilet, lots of bright red blood, blood clots and urine. I also remember thinking how mad someone was going to be having to clean that mess up. Oh, and there was that scream thing again. That's when a bunch of people ran in and I passed out.
I woke up hours later, much worse for the wear
That's about as much of it as I can remember, other than, it hurt.

I will ferret out an affair at any opportunity.
-An affair is the embodiment of entitlement, fueled by resentment and lack of respect. -An infidel will remain unreachable so long as their sense of entitlement exceeds their ability to reason.
