Did you tell the doc that you had been eating Benadryl?
He never asked. Somehow BB figured that out after the fact by talking to other people at the hospital where she worked. You the quack nurses that think they are doctors. Some of the nurses are good and when taken collectively darn good.

I can even do my own stitches.
I tried that once. I couldn’t get the needle to go through the skin on my shin. No joke. I washed out the 2” cut with several things and held it together with "Steri-strips" I bought at Wal-Mart. It was Sunday and no way was I going to pay $500 to the ER (10 years ago) for something I thought was worth $50.

I had other cuts where the walk-in-care office super glued a cut together but that only held for a day then I "Steri-stripped" it.

The last rinse and glue job cost $250 and another $8 for a tetanus shot. All in five or 10 minuets tops. I said “last” it was my “last” cut repair.

They didn't want to wait over 30 days on the stone to pass, but doing more damage to get it out versus less damage to let nature have a try at it seemed the right way to go, even though it took longer.
Yes, the damage due to the procedure. BTDT.

Most of the time we don't have all the information as to the procedural damage. I am happy to hear things have been working a little bit in your favor so far.

I was 21. It was "impossible", at 10mm. Hard to claim impossible when that sucker is sitting in a basket. It did cut me up really badly though, and I almost passed out from the pain.
10mm, that is huge considering the anatomy. Toyota's have several 10, 12, and 14 mm nuts and bolts holding the car together. I may never look at another 10mm wrench w/o thinking of you. I worked for the dealership for 10 years so know the older model of cars and trucks well. VW had several 10mm fasteners too.

the doctor replies back - "Define pain."
Comical, if it is in a movie.

I think Albert Ellis would say the doc had a point. The definition of one form of Pain is relative to the alternatives, multiplied by the number of people who it affects.

Then, there are the people that taste a big difference between Coke and Pepsi and won't drink one brand, but will drink the other brand of cola.

The pain thing I understand. I still think the extreme cola thing is being a way too sensitive. It's good there aren't too many cola purists.

I suppose to some people cola flavors are relative.

Maybe more people should have the following sign in mind. http://cgi.ebay.com/LUCKY-THE-LOST-DOG-M...9QQcmdZViewItem
It might define the term "relative" a bit.
