Anyway, strange is going to be my new middle name.
Yesterday evening, I took S6 hunting with me, CW took S15 ro her sisters for the weekend. It is an hour drive, so I told her to leave me a message so I know she made it back to town safe (her van is 10 yrs old and has 175K on it.) When she was leaving, she asked me if I was going to church today. An odd question as I normally go if I am not working.
She reminded me that the start was differant as this is the 1st Sunday of of the summer schedule. She then asked again if I was going. I finally figured out what she wanted and asked her if she wanted a ride. Immediate yes. We sat together even.
After church, I asked if she minded stopping at the hunting store for a shirt for S6 as we are hunting again today. She was eager to stop.
After shopping, (she picked out several things for me to look at), I told her we were going to stop to eat and she was welcome. Her reply, "that's fine, as long as you don't mind." While at brunch she asked what we were doing after and I told her we were planting hostas. She then offered to ride her bike over and help.
