I'm really, really pooped. Too pooped to cry.
This is the really quick update...
graduation weekend went really well. S had fun, got some nice gifts (!) and his school had a really nice ceremony. As far as H and I, it went too well, I always think if we are this "good together" why are we Ding...
I thought I was doing well packing, but it has been a long time since I moved a whole house. I wasn't finished when the movers came, so they just moved what I had. All of the furniture that was going with, as well as about 80 percent of the boxes. I'll just deal with the rest in the next week.
IN the meantime, my boss and really good friend is having open heart surgery tomorrow. His wife is my really good friend that I lunch with all the time. This all came up very suddenly, and so we are all praying and sending positive thoughts.
My brother and his stepson fly in tomorrow to visit and help. It could get complicated if I want to be back over here to see boss..but I'm promising myself I won't worry, just play it all by ear as it plays out.
The "beach house" looks like what I used to call an "old lady" house. You know, a house that an older woman has downsized to, but forgot to get rid of enough stuff!!! Oh well, S and I have some work to do. But one good thing, it looks like a home now already, even with 35 boxes sitting around everywhere.
Okay, I'm exhausted. I'm only good for lying on the couch.
I still have lots of phone calls to make and am very behind, I'm just cutting myself all kinds of slack right now.
