Jak, Matilda, Yoyo, and Penny, My trip to Boston was wonderful. It was great to be present for my sister for my neice's coming-of-age religious ceremony. My BIL's father died the week before, so it was also an opportunity to offer my condolences in-person.
My W has scheduled a two-week cruise for herself. I hope this allows her mind to settle, so that she can come back and face her problems. I don't know if she's going solo or with a friend. I won't ask.
She is like a "frog in hot water." She seems paralyzed by the stressors in her life.
She worked on the house while I was in Boston. She tore-up the carpet in her office, to expose the hardwood floor. It looks much nicer. She also took down the dark red drapes, and plans on replacing them with a brighter color.
I visited my IC this week. He believes that my W's behavior is not a reflection on me, but more reveals her issues. It helps to hear that, to validate my perspective.
I passed the Salsa 3 class, and have been promoted to Salsa 4.
My W and I have been invited to a family vacation in NC in late June. My W will be on her cruise at that time. I'll have to think about how to manage that situation.
