I won't watch that show. For me, it's not a hopeless romantic type of thing...it's a "here let me sell myself" thing. That's just my take on it though, I certainly don't hold anything against anyone who does enjoy it. I also wouldn't watch "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire" when it was on, or "The Bachelorette".
Perhaps I'm too pragmantic too....but I definitely do have a hopeless romantic side to me.
I watched it once. It pi$$ed off the feminist in me (hi, Ms hairdog!). A bunch of girls with a Cinderella complex falling over themselves to be "chosen" by some rich guy they don't even really know? Ugh.
LOL...that's part of the fun for me though, some of em really can't LOL. Some of them are downright painful to watch, but they try. Besides that, half the fun for me is my 4yr old son loves to bound around the room imitating them LOL. Of course half the time his version of dancing is standing in the middle of the room shaking one leg like Elvis LOL.
I can't do "the Bachelor" but I love to watch ballroom dance and it is entertaining to see how the "famous faces" do but watching the real dancers is what is so cool! My dh and ds just grooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaan...........
And I don't watch either of those shows. I prefer to watch sitcoms and laugh my a$$ off
If it weren't for sitcoms, I think I would have been put into a looney bin after going through all this crap.
It's my escape from the real world (if only for a little while)

hey, it pi$$es off the feminist in ME too! so don't feel bad.

Another problem I had with myself is so many good people (maybe they were following a script) it would be difficult to drop some of the women.
If the women's tears are real, how does one get past that? That would be the difficult part for me. It is also a problem IRL.
Sitcoms, a little goes a long way. Dancing With The Stars, OK if they are good armatures and not pros. I mostly watch the Discovery Channels? Supposedly, it is real. I hope this forum is real. Just wish I had more "Real" answers to "Real" problems.
