jwhetnc, Your plan sounds very good to me. You asked whether love can ever be restored after so long and so much distance between you. Just read the success stories. While not everyone ends up living happily ever after, many people do. Will you? I don't know. But if I were you, I'd follow your plan rigidly and what to see what happens. Then, in the end if it didn't work, at least I could tell myself that I did everything humanly possible to save my marriage. I'd sleep better at night. I think you will too. Just keep plugging away.
