Relax, you're pregnant. I know this is no news flash for you but all of us know what it is like to long for our walk-away %$^&*#. We combine our lonesomeness with a critical eye wondering what we could have done differently. Some good changes can result, but we've all wondered who is the bigger loser- the selfish jerk who left you, or the one who married the selfish jerk in the first place. I cannot imagine what it would be like to go through all that while pregnant.
Question: is the baby his? I don't ask to call your character into doubt. I ask because I just can't fathom a father leaving you in the cold like that. I know that about the only good explanation is if he is not the father.
But if he is the father...... He needs a visit from MoonDoggy and all of us left-behind hubbys.
Stay strong. It's OK to need him, just know that you won't get what you're looking for from him.
