H wanted to talk settlement yesterday. already....we have at least five months before the hearing date is scheduled but for whatever reason....well, he said his attorney called him and asked if we had agreed upon anything yet...

so, it was all fine and dandy till he started saying that we can't go through Friend of the Court, etc....no real reasons...just that S3 would become a case number...

um, yeah, he forgets that I did divorce/custody law for several years...

so, he was cool and collected till I said that I know the reason why he doesn't want to go through FOC and wants to agree on a set amount of CS is because I won't ever know what his increases, bonuses (huge every year) and the petty cash under the table he gets every so often....

He then threatened me that he would take 1/2 of my 401k which would be considerable. He reminded me that he is giving me the house and all the equity (at least $80,000).

Yeah, things are going swell over here! We are definately on our way to a D this fall.
