She is still not attending d18's graduation b/c she won't leave her dogs. She repeated the statement to me, that "they [ie the DOGS] won't be around forever..." This is a woman who knows nothing about her grandchildren, and ours are her only ones...she and bil dropped off the face of the earth when H left and even now, as we are piecing--well--she has total amnesia about the past 22 months. Sadly, I don't.
Her loss. Besides, I should shut up and be glad she is NOT coming...come to think of it, we should definitely be careful with what we wish for....just hope d18 is alright about it. 2nd place to her dogs...Christ, what an idiot. She is missing so much, and it truly is HER loss... j-
