I haven' fallen off the face of the earth (although sometimes it doesn't sound like a bad option).
Still here and still dealing with a crazy MLCer. I can't go into too much detail b/c it would be too long and telling. Suffice it to say my H has potentially screwed me on the move. I have decided even if I don't get the house I will still go and live with my folks (as much as I don't want to) until I can find something else.
He has been so depressed with work for so long. Then yesterday he calls and he is nice and happy sounding. I was encouraging and tell him he will do great at whatever it is he does. His response is a blow off "yeah we'll see." Every time I try to be supportive and encouraging I get a TOTAL blow off answer like that. It is sooo frustrating. I haven't let it show in my demeanor with him, I'm still nice and upbeat. BLEH. No matter what I do he doesn't care. It's almost like he is patronizing me with a response so I will shut up and leave him alone. Like I am to annoying to listen to. When one of his complaints was that I didn't show enough support for him!!! AAARRRGGG!!!
There's lots of other yucky H news but I just can't deal with it right now. No, not an OW that I found out about. I really couldnt handle that right now with all the other crap.
Anyhoo, getting read to take the kids to Disney World next week. They have no idea they are going. I am just packing a bag and taking them to the airport and seeing if they figure it out before we get there. They will be SOOOOO excited!!! It will be a blast!
MIL got a call from her SIL yesterday. MIL's brother lives in Florida and was admitted to the hospital yesterday to have a triple bypass. He can't have it until Monday or Tuesday b/c he has to be off his blood thinners. So I changed our flight so that we can drive down from Disney and visit with him for a day. I think MIL appreciated it. She hasn't seen him in a few years and my kids have never met him. Oh and she also found out her other brother is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. sigh. She had a rough day yesterday.
Yep, life is full of fun in my little neck of the woods.
Tonight my girlfriend and her kids are coming over for pizza and a movie. Thank God for distractions.
