All the inlaws are trying to do is cut you down to their level. Don't go for their little games, you are far above that. It's just their way of accepting what has happened, of course, it has to be your fault, because they are too afraid to look at the truth. Yes, it is slander, but it is slander from little people who have nothing better to do in their lives.
Once they realize they can't get to you, they will slither off back under the rocks they came from.
