They mixed the drinks, I just drank them. It's Julie's fault.

Yup, I thought your H was the craziest one here. Would not have laid odds on his turnaround. But - one thing I've learned here, it's really not over until it's over (sometimes not even then - one woman's H MARRIED the OW, THEN wanted to reconcile.)

Just heard some bad news today, that an old friend of mine has metastatic kidney cancer. \:\(

He trained with me in the same residency program, and we then worked together for many years in a busy urgent care center. His kids are the same age as mine. A real stand-up guy, very serious about his faith, his family, and his profession.

Don't forget to tell the people in your life that you love them today.

Was looking through last year's threads, and ran across my choking episode (some of you will remember, I almost choked to death on a piece of steak and S20 had to save me with the Heimlich maneuver).

Reminded me I should repost the Heimlich website link:

http://www.heimlichinstitute.org/howtodo.html

Do please go and print off instructions and review them with your family members. You never know whose life may be saved - maybe yours!

Wow Ellie I'm just catching up and SO sorry to hear about your friend with kidney cancer. I know it sounds grim but I hope he can pull through.

Telling everyone except H, today (and I'm telling him silently in my heart).
