THE SLOW BOAT TO FREEDOM:

When I asked you what her situation was, you said she was in the same boat.

Huh? She's in the same boat as you? But I thought we were in the boat together. Do you mean to tell me that you bailed out, you jumped ship and got into another boat while I wasn't watching? And with someone else no less?

I thought we were going to stay on the same boat come hell or high water. We've gone through some rough seas before and you hung in there. I really thought I could depend on you. I certainly thought you'd help me out of the boat if it was sinking or at the very least warn me before you bailed on me. At least that way I'd have half a chance to patch it or make it to shore before it went down.

But look what you did. You left your wife and children on a sinking ship so that you could hop onto the same boat as that siren pirate you found. She's not a stable vessel like the one you left you know...you'll soon discover that.

Little do you know that you are now sailing toward dark and dangerous waters while I managed to keep our ship afloat and now, very slowly, my children, my family and I are sailing this slow boat to freedom.

That was beautiful.

I want to climb in your boat.

Let's make a one big cruise ship and sail that sucker right to the shore of freedom.

Question:

Is it possible that the ow would not look me up on Google or do any investigating or would she just pretend that she doesn't know who I am or what I do?

I ask because the kids told me that when they met her they talked a lot about me and my business and asked if she had ever heard of it or seen my website and she said no. Is that possible or was she lying so you think? God knows I've looked her up a hundred times.

She's such a hoity toity that it could be possible but my god, you'd have to not be human to not want to look...oh yeah, maybe she isn't human.

Althea -
Why would Miss Leatherpants want to make you "real" by looking you up, when she can hold on to her image of you (fostered by your H's insistence that your marriage was "over years ago", I'm sure, as well as his likely description of your art as a "hobby"). And really - since she ALSO falls into the "those that can't do, teach" group, why would she want to see the FABULOUS ART that you are making and displaying and getting critical kudos for???

I'd just like to have seen the look on her face when your kids informed her of your artistic successes - a little green, perhaps??? ;\)

Althea,

I just love the way you word things....

((((Faith))))

There can be no testimony without a test.
I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.
