THE SLOW BOAT TO FREEDOM:

When I asked you what her situation was, you said she was in the same boat.

Huh? She's in the same boat as you? But I thought we were in the boat together. Do you mean to tell me that you bailed out, you jumped ship and got into another boat while I wasn't watching? And with someone else no less?

I thought we were going to stay on the same boat come hell or high water. We've gone through some rough seas before and you hung in there. I really thought I could depend on you. I certainly thought you'd help me out of the boat if it was sinking or at the very least warn me before you bailed on me. At least that way I'd have half a chance to patch it or make it to shore before it went down.

But look what you did. You left your wife and children on a sinking ship so that you could hop onto the same boat as that siren pirate you found. She's not a stable vessel like the one you left you know...you'll soon discover that.

Little do you know that you are now sailing toward dark and dangerous waters while I managed to keep our ship afloat and now, very slowly, my children, my family and I are sailing this slow boat to freedom.
