If your H is a compulsive liar, then he needs individual treatment and/or a 10-step program. Until he addresses this problem and enters into recovery, it will continue to damage your M deeply.
I think there are probably good resources on the internet about this problem.

Oldtimer--I'm on it. After initially looking at the information available online, I believe H's lying is to cover up rather than being compulsive/without reason. I will do more research into this.

AUD, I am sorry about the news. Do you think he will tell you if they are his or not? I mean that will be probably the hardest thing he will have to do as a guy is admit that one to you if he truly want to be with you. Just a thought?

He admits that they could be his, but that OW told him her boyfriend thinks they're his, and that his name will be on the birth certificates. This conversation supposedly took place sometime last fall soon after she discovered the pregnancy...H gave me the story last night.
If she is putting the her BF name on the Birth certificate and he does not want anything to do with her then I would not worry about it. Again you and your H are assuming that they are his or could be his. They might not be. Does he still talk to this chick?
This is very tough and not needed right now for you. I would suggest putting it behind you and moving forward.

He says no contact with this chick. I checked into legal ramifications yesterday, and if Medicaid was used for the birth, it is possible the state will seek to establish paternity and open a can of worms.
Just keep yourself gaurded for now and see how this all shakes out before you make any rash desc. Again I am sorry about this. I can only imagine how it affected you....
