Funks are a good thing. You know what a blessing it is to be OK.
Bomb 1/06 D dismissed 11/07, attempt reconciliation. Premature. Divorce final October 31, 2008. OW looks like bad history. Over. Still hopeful. Baby steps. In R with my X.
MIL arrived kids were so happy to see her they went nuts.
We all worked on a puzzle together. I made homemade waffles for dinner (sometimes breakfast is a great dinner ), then we played Pictionary Jr. It was so much fun. Very interesting drawings from a 4 year old, but she actually played really well and LOVED it.
Going to watch Brothers and Sisters. (love that show) Hope everyone has a good night.
Sorry for the funk sweetie....but I had to laugh at Vanilla letting the girls color the eggs in new clothes.....sigh, they just don't GET IT! But thats cuz most don't do the laundry Who knowes.....
Waffles? LOL.....as "Donkey" said with a big smile...I'M GONNA MAKE WAFFLES. I love that movie......
Now I'm hungry for homeade waffles.......darn!
Look out special K....here I come!
Your MIL sounds wonderful! Good for you to have her in your life and your daughters. All is not lost, just misplaced.

Also some new and improved emoticons would be nice!
I am seeing pictures of the girls in the painty clothes, smiling at the camera, waving easter eggs and holding baskets.
I am seeing the next picture of the girls, holding painty clothes over the trash can frowning. Great pics for story telling years from now, and many many laughs ... so don't fret over it any more.
Good live and learn story for you all. Next time they go visit they can take painty clothes "in case" dad has ideas for fun projects.
I have been dragging the girlies and MIL around doing fun stuff. this week we went to the Bronx Zoo (GREAT zoo btw), saw the Easter Bunny, shopped some, and went to the Museum of Natural History (love that place). Now I'm pooped. It's a pajama day for us.
As for H, another hellish week at work. I really do feel bad for him. He "seems" to be doing okay. Then he "seems" not to then back to okay. Poor guy.
On the other hand, he did decide to go to The Masters golf tournament and skip out on Easter with us. So if you happen to be in the area of the tournament run him down please. He came by on Thursday and dropped off baskets for the kids. I got a "oh yeah, Happy Easter" after I told him Happy Easter. I left to get my nails done. He didn't tell the kids he's not going to be here tomorrow. I get to. Bleh.
I'm sure there is lots more but I can't think of it right now.
We're going to dye eggs and hang out today.
Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter!!
Yes I am going to miss the city, and you!! **sniff**
I had to correct Jen a couple of times LOL!!! I thought of you guys and laughed.
Today I'm making some of the food for tomorrow and cleaning the house. I can't wait to see the girls get their baskets from the Easter Bunny. They are so excited. How can a dad miss this by choice???
My MIL speaks a little spanish. You'd think after living there for 9 years they would both be fluent, but they're not.
Hi girl! J sent me some pics of you gals from March and I have to say you are GORGEOUS!!!! ALl of you gals looked so gorgeous, fabulous and fun. I started to think that maybe these H's had a lobotomy or something...to skip out on wonderful women.
Have a great Easter...you sound like it's gonna be a nice day with your MIL, girls and you.
Golf Tournament vs family....hmmmmmm. Tough choice when you have the MLC brain.
You are so sweet. I think the H's must of had lobotomies to leave the wonderful women I have met from this board. You already know how fabulous and CARING the people are here.
