As a mom with young kids, for me it's really just about doing something everyday. No I'm not training for a marathon but I am happy just by doing something. I'm lucky too. It's really easy for me to squeeze some sort of exercise in all day long at work.
Was happy to get to gym and do my 30 min of cardio and 15 min of core. Roads were pretty decent. They did great with the plowing. previous thread

I just wanted to boast that I have averaged 5 body pump sessions a week and 4 spin.
I did try googling taboo squats and got some interesting results
Much more interesting than the alternative. Google seems to work.
Am not permitted to do high impact such as running- bad knees and mortons neuroma. So I am so envious. PLUS the wine spills if I run, and don't want to use a straw.

The gym here opens Monday and I am super excited about it. I am happy with my current weight (body fat wise). I want to tone and tighten tho. And put on some more muscle mass. I plan on talking to trainers for advice on how to do this as I have never really worked out in a gym before.

Wondering if anyone on the forums has any experience as a trainer or I guess working out in general.
My focus for the gym is to tone and build some muscle. Don't want weight loss just to firm up and have some definition. I don't know what te best way to do this is though. Anyone that can help or direct me I. The right direction please do
