You're welcome, Eirinn! I'll have to check in on Zephyr and your sitch, too. After I updated my thread, I grabbed a bite to eat.
I hadn't either, until someone mentioned them (there so many) in one of the Divorce Support Group nights.
I guess we are not supposed to post other links on this forum, which I completely agree with. You can do an internet search on meetup and you'll see they have groups all in or near major cities.
To finally answer your question, Meetup Groups are people getting together to learn something, do something or share something. Usually, there is no fee to join.
They have many very good GAL actvities in the area I live in the Midwest.
Take care of yourself, please.
xoxo

Hello, you made my day! Thanks for checking in on me and the encouraging comments. I am doing okay. How about you? I hope to have time to see how your world is going (or not) a little later.
For now, an inspirational Bible verse I came across:
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds…. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit” (Psalm 147:3, 5).
I am by no means a Bible expert, but I love the Book of Psalms.
Hang in there all.

Bob, just wanted to say you do a great job supporting everyone on this board. You're always giving encouragement to others and its very appreciated. All the meetup group GAL activities sound awesome. Keep up the great work.
Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be

Fogg,
How kind of you to say, thank you. I quoted the part of your post above because I feel the exact same way about you. "Feel the Love." LOL
Seriously, you have made me feel better many times. I truly appreciate you, Fogg.
I've been so busy GAL'ing and working extra hours I haven't been able to keep up with everyone's sitch as much as I'd like.
Maybe I'll check in on you soon...
Regards,
Bob
