Hi Friends, Just checking in to say Hi. Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of my divorce. I remembered that today. Funny. It was just another day. Time marches on, life goes on and time does heal all wounds.
I see him now and then, he still invites me sailing. Today he let me sail by hand. I hadn't done that in awhile, it was nice. I do love that boat......
I have roommates sharing the house with me, 4 doctorate students here doing some forensic anthropology stuff with the military. And my guy in the guest house pays his rent, but not without many reminders. I don't plan on renewing his lease......
Work is good, too. I got a promotion and am enjoying my work.
I think of all of you often. I sent my son to these board recently. His wife is working on being a WAS. He was floored and then calmed down a bit by doing some reading on here. I don't think he made a profile yet, just lurking. I had him start Sandi's 37 Rules, and he said that helped. It is hard to think of my son going through all the pain. And he is young (29) and has 2 little girls. But as we all know all these things work out. One way or another.
Aloha,
Wendy

Aloha Wendy! You sound great. Just last night Josh & I were talking about you, reminiscing our lovely time in Hawaii & learning the wonderful art of indigo dying. Something we will never forget. The ambiance of the beautiful place you live in. Wishing you continued good health & happiness.
Thanks Barb! It was lovely having you over. Everyone from DB who comes to Hawaii should come over for Indigo dyeing lessons!
I am pondering changing my last name. And I don't think I will go back to my maiden name. I think I will pick a completely new name. I'm already testing it out on FB. I like it.....
Work was crazy today, one guy is on leave and the other gal called in sick. It was just another Manic Monday!
I hope it was good for all my DB friends!

so today I took my iPhone to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store. Where it was declared dead, not repairable. So feeling dejected I went over to Nieman Marcus to look at stuff I can't afford. And I was feeling not quite 100% And I saw a great looking fellow about my age. He stared at me, with shockingly blue eyed, his gray full head of hair cut just right. I smiled as he passed me, and he turned to get on the escalator and he tried to go up the down side...... YES, I've still got it..........
