I am beat. I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night but it wasn't for lack of trying. So I really noticed the breeze today. I could I help but notice with some of the gusts we have had? I am kind of like rain already but I don't mind looking at the sunny sky.

I came right home and gave myself 10 minutes of still time and hopped on dishes and I have started on dinner. Sleep is the main thing on my mind but I am still looking for some job options so I will make myself stay up for a while.

I didn't want to apologize again for the glitch with my key board this morning. Plus I was so exhausted.

Anyhow, I should hopefully get the next 26 days on here. Remember not to be upset with yourself if you maybe don't do a task or forget to repeat your affirmations. It is important just to want to do this and be good to yourself.

Blessings, kat

So, now we are on day 3. The focus this week has been the element air. We observe it, we feel it and embrace it.

Today's affirmation: there is clarity within me and around me.

Breathe in self-acceptance and breathe out self judgement while doing this cleansing breath: breathe in for 3' hold for 3 and exhale. Repeat this three times. Now repeat using 6 seconds.

The task: clutter clear one area.

Blessings, kat

Kat,

D20 and I decluttered my garage on Saturday! I have a car full of stuff to take to charity today. I feel so much better. Most of it was stuff I cleared out of the house 2 years ago while my house was up for sale. Now that it's been 2 years and I haven't used the stuff, I'm getting rid of most of it. I have a little bit of stuff that I am keeping, though.

Thanks for the motivation!

Betsey

Can you guys do me a favor? I would like to know why you think I would be a good life coach. This is part of my " homework" not just me asking for sunshine. smile

Kat I haven't read your previous posts before on "homework". I am trying to implement small little improvements in my life as well. Do you assign yourself tasks on a daily or weekly basis? How do you typically choose where to begin? I find one of my problems right now is only being able to see overall things that need to be improved upon, and those are huge! I need to start small to make it.

I just started this soul cleaning. I know I am not doing the job I should be and it is something I am dealing with. I found a book on soul coaching which is to help clear clutter from yourself. Not that I don't have the other kind as well.

I thought by doing these tasks together, I would maybe get others to a better place too. Step by step you know.

Before I post today's notes I wanted to share a couple things. Last night I was watching "The Little Couple.". They were renewing their vows. It was really sweet and I teared up. My D15 asked if I was ok and I explained how great it was to see how marriage can be and that I hoped to find a guy like that. She asked if I was looking. Well I really just started to cry and said that I was afraid of not being able to tell if this guy was really a good one or not. I didn't think I could take being hurt so badly again. She started to cry and held me and said that she said that I was such a wonderful person and I didnt deserve to be hurt.

Well it was a good cry and d15 talked a lot.

On another note, I did have a bit of an ah ha moment. I am in control even on the job front. I can figure something out that will fulfill my needs . I have to keep this job while I get my bearings but that is fine for now,

Ok on to the good stuff. We are on day four. Today's affirmation: I love and accept who I am...and who I am is enough.

Remember you are so much more than the labels you give yourself. You are an incredible soul. Chances are you haven't even begun to scratch the surface of all you truly are.

Today: observe your life while you hold the thought that the events of your life today are neither good nor bad, they are just events of the day. They are only good or bad depending upon the meaning that you give them.

Today's Task: Be a sacred observer. Look at how we express ourselves each day. If you constantly are expressing things as bad odds are that you will see things in the same light. So change your language to change your life. Two examples that fit me perfectly: instead of I am exhausted it can become I am recharging. Instead of I am lonely it can become I am open to love..

Blessings, kat

I jumped, sort of. I signed up for a course for life coaching. I think having my psychology degree is a great base. So taking some control f my own situation and I will see where this goes. Wish me luck. smile
