Since BA's community thread exceeds the post amounts, I thought I'd start a new one should the lock monster come in the middle of the night. And we can post in parallel until it's locked.
So, BA last regaled us with a dizzying synopsis of the lengths he's going to entertain his bevy of beauties. All I can say is that when it rains, it pours, and if BA has it, he can flaunt it. Since I've met him IRL, he's a good guy, and from where we sit in cyber space, he's probably going to have a dilemma here shortly. Admission is free when the show starts.
On a sobering note, BA, I'll keep your dad and family in my thoughts and prayers.
Kat, I think your newfound extrovert nature suits you! Good for you for talking football. It's good to let go once in awhile.
BA, go get your colonoscopy scheduled. Good news is always the best reward for doing those sorts of things. I have my physical scheduled for the 26th as well. I want to start 2014 off on a good note. At least in the health category.
Barb, as always, I hope you have a fabulous trip and don't worry about health stuff. I also pray you don't have anything to worry about too!
On a personal note, it's been really awesome having D19 home. She's been a huge help, cooperative and a real team player for me. It's been nice to have another pair of hands.

Waited all day for dr to call but finally got the news. First tests are looking good. Not all results are in and he wants me back right after Hawaii & probably have more extensive tests but so far so good! I am so relieved!

Let's see. My first thought is that I just couldn't be with a guy who is a cross dresser. I just couldn't do THAT.
On a different note, since you guys knew how my summer with D19 went... How much difference a few months can make. I had my monthly hair appointment this afternoon, and D19 went yesterday. Jenny (my hair designer) told me that D19 told her how glad she is to be home and how much she misses us and Colorado. It makes me feel so much happier. I can even say that in my banishment. I'm in my room, as my family room is filled with her friends watching movies. Cracks me up that they chose Some Like It Hot. I really miss these kids. I kinda feel like their mom too...

Yep - dilemna reached and I'm screwed (pun intended). I'm a weak, weak man. Now I have to figure out what the heck I'm going to do.
So Christmas Eve finds me...alone but content. I will relax by the fire tonight and enjoy some more of the Scotch that I bought for myself. Now if we could just get some surprise Christmas Eve snow it would be perfect. My girls will come over Christmas morning around 11am and we will open presents and then head over to some very good friends house for Christmas dinner.
As for the dating scene things remain complicated solely due to my own fault and inability to say the word no and keep doors shut that have been previously closed. On the positive side, Sarah from Michigan is coming to visit me in January. I'm ecstatic that I'm going to be able to show her around DC for a few days and we will both get a chance to know each other better. :-) I really feel that her visit will help provide me a lot of clarity going forward.
