I'm going to start this out.

Twas the Night Before Christmas MLC style.

Anyone who wants to add to this has to add a verse, that rhymes in the style of the poem.

At the end, I'll compile it and pin it to the top of the page. Lets take some of our misery and sadness and point fun at the crappy aspects, sort of like the MLC for Dummies.

Here goes:


Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house;
All the shopping was done, thanks to the Left Behind Spouse.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that who we once knew would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While dreams of a Single household, appeared to be dead.

With my WAW holding her cellphone, and I in my cap,

Had long ago put a damper, on all of this "texting" crap.

On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
These fleet ones are OPs, IF you can recall,

Then down in the den there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter
My MLCer had gone through all of our cash
And had broken a piggy bank; that was the crash

Away to the lawyer's I flew like a flash,
Ran through the doorway and threw down the cash.

to help WAS ignore what's REALLY the matter.
Away they both run, spending piles of cash
the anger I feel makes "Hulk want to Smash!"
