Some of you I've known since I joined the forums a couple of years ago. I'm glad there's traffic here, because I still rely on the DB community a fair amount to keep me processing my grief and recovery from this big life change.
I'm only getting started in the divorce process, but I think it will be a project of 2014.

Oh yeah, and it was kind of a cr@p day. I've managed one client for 15 years, and today they let me know they're not renewing my contract. So I'm also going through the world's slowest firing as well. I'm under contract until June.
I felt surprised, hurt, angry, unappreciated, and sad. I will feel more of that, and it's normal. But I also know what's on the other side of those feelings, now that I've been through them before. I'll process my feelings and move forward and be ok. Something better lies ahead. But today I feel a little bad.
