I know! I thought that as well Still no text from H, strange. Not that I'm worried, I'd rather not hear from him MH mentioned about piecing on your thread, but I think I'm as far away from piecing as you can get, lol. Off out again with another friend this morning. I'm determined today that I'm not going to have lunch out Opened the bathroom cabinet this morning to find a packet of disposable razors in there (?) Freaked me out a bit, but I knew H had put them there. I just don't know why, weird.

Hey ttd, I've read on other's threads that when their spouse was thinking about moving back home or any of those type of thoughts they would sloooooooowly start moving things back in...maybe razors are a sign. See where they move to next! lol
Something to think on, but not too hard. As it hurts the brain to think there is anything positive going on.

Those lunches out can get expensive. I have to keep reminding my son that we can't do McD's for breakfast every weekend or eat out as often as we used to.
I cleared all of my H's stuff out of the bathroom weeks ago - it's probably the only room that doesn't still have evidence of H in it LOL. It's all in a box on the floor on his side of the closet, along with the stuff that was on his bedside stand, ready for him to pick up whenever he finally gets round to packing. I've got custody of his electric razor for now as it's used to give S13 a neck shave when he gets his buzz cuts done - got to meet Army Cadet standards

Hi Pud, I won't think about that too hard, lol. H will sometimes come round to use the bath as he's not got one at his flat. The razors are for shaving round his privates, don't ask! lol. I spoke to mum today. Considering I asked my parents not to talk about my H, they still do! My mum said she didn't invite us over to stay because my H really upset her. She's forgotton that she was the one who upset him in the first place. This was 2 years ago!! Talk about holding a grudge!! AND... She's supposed to be a Christian!! She upset me, I felt cold when I got off the phone to her. I suppose I can't grumble about her too much as she sending me some money for Christmas, after making sure that H wasn't coming over of course, lol. I can't wait to see the counsellor on Tuesday now I need some help with coping with my mum, never mind the H, lol. Hopefully this counsellor may actually say something instead of saying "You can't do anything about your parents, you'll never change them, just ignore them", etc.

Boy am I glad I didn't suggest that you use those razors on your legs, then put them back in the cupboard for him to use LOL - we all know the effect that shaving one's legs has on a razor blade .
Dealing with parents is hard. DBing doesn't always work either because they're older and wiser, or at least they think they are. I'm sorry you're still having the same issue with your mum.
Open a bottle of fun and have a spritzer!

I agree NQ, DBing doesn't work on parents! I intend to have a large glass of fun tonight Actually though I'm not stressed today which is good I think I'm learning not to let my mum get to me as much, I just wish that I am able to stand up for myself with her

Don't feel too bad about not being able to stand up to her. I can't stand up to my dad very easily either. It's the way we were brought up - respect for our elders and that sort of thing.
I'll join you later in the glass of fun - way too early here, plus I've still got 2 hours of work to fill.

You said it right there, the key is to not let them get to you as much. I have told my mom there are certain things I just won't discuss with her. Mostly because of her views on these things, and it only ends up with us both feeling angst. I tried to db on my mom one day and it worked ok, but not great, lol.
I could use a large glass of fun too tonight!
