my son and i are on a bit of a vacation...coming to see my h's family in the state we used to live part time.......we hung out yesterday at the zoo and it was so so difficult
all i wanted to do was to go back to our old house afterwards (we are renting it out) and make dinner for the three of us
i realize it was my fault for putting myself in that situation, but i thought it would be nice for him to have both his parents around for a few hours
G, I'm sorry it was difficult for you. And I do understand you wanting your son to have both parents around.
Here's the thing. Even though he is young, he can sense things. And so, if you are ok, so will he be. But if you are really uncomfortable, he can sense that, too.
You have to do what's best for you. And just because it was you h's idea doesnt mean you have to do it, ya know?
