Hello all,

My wife has filed for divorce and I have been doing the 180 technique for a few weeks (we still live together). Just noticed that she wrote a check to a therapist a few days ago on our joint account.

Is this progress??? I hope so, but I'm not sure.

It's probably not progress, it's not unusual for WAS's to seek out IC mainly so they can have someone tell them they're doing the right thing. Unfortunately most counselors will do just that, they see their job as validating whatever their client wants to do.

Stick with your 180's and settle in for a long haul, it takes months and months before a WAS will start to appreciate 180's as real and not just tricks to earn them back.
