Question for the old hands:

I am somewhat relieved at the pressure that has been removed with the separation, but I miss her terribly as well.

Is there any good advice or tips for making the best of the separation?

Right now Im just trying to be on my A game when I see her and ensure that I am being a good dad.

What are some things that YOU always wanted to be different in your house ?

Change the decor, rearrange the furniture, change the pictures, change the kitchen around...

Whatever YOU want to do to make things match what you want...

Paint and redecorate the kids rooms.

Put a Billiard table in the Dining room....

Take this time to get to know yourself, and what YOU like, and want in your life.

Get out and mingle with the people.

Find a hobby that really interests you.

Take some classes a couple evenings a week...

This is your time...use it wisely

Agreed. GAL seems the only way forward.

M: A really long time.
Crisis: 5 years.
