So my husband made it to S4's ball game. I was thrilled he choose family over work. So while we were there we had a really good conversation about his job. I think this is the most we have talked in a long time. I pretty much let him talk the whole time. Normally I would get irritated because well he never asks me about himself. So I listened to him say he was unhappy with the place but loved what he did. He gets paid VERY well and we rely on that income to live so norm Karla would have said "well we can't afford you too" but instead I said maybe look within the company if the pay will be about the same. We can afford a bit of a pay cut but not huge" That I tried not to be snippy or say anything negative to him. Told him that he has to be happy and whatever that is is fine with me.
I think it shocked him a bit because he just kept on talking more. I think it also helped we were in a public setting so that helped make the situation not so defensive.
