After wondering for a while why I hadn't heard anything from the court where my wife had filed, I happened to find a letter from the court in the street mailbox (never use that address) offering a copy of the decree for $15. So, we're officially FORMER spouses, though it really doesn't change that much on my end (other than having to report it for my security clearance, and disenrolling her as a military dependent). I'm still hopeful we'll eventually have another chance, but in the meantime have been going about life - and day to day life is pretty decent...

I believe that the LBS always gets to decide what is the END.
If it is not what you decided then it is not yet the end!
It's an interesting thought to reflect on... seems like there's nuance in the choice of words...
