Haha, that's true, I've been very blessed with some timely and relevant advice.
W didn't have any real input on the therapist - a friend of hers had recommended a therapist couple way back before things started getting hairy, but I don't think she ever wanted to see them. The pastor we've been working with recommended him to us. I was surprised by the commitment, myself, since she'd been talking like she was going to tell him she just wanted to find a way for us to split.
W is definitely on the fence about all of this, and I have to keep telling myself that it'll be a session or two more before we start trying to repair the rift... but it's staying calm in the house, at least.
